Local Harvest does this far better than I could. Their site offers a very good search engine which provides listings and brief descriptions of local farmers' markets, family farms, farm stands, organic grocery stores, and other sources of sustainably grown food across the country. Click on any listing to get more detail, maps, hours of operation, and special events.
