Preventing Tick Bites and the Lyme Disease Resource Center

Sep 9 2018

As the summer wraps up and we head into the fall, the weather finds us out in our yards and gardens; hiking and getting out in nature. Fall is also the time that ticks become more active. Don’t forget to use preventative measures to protect yourself while enjoying the beauty and bounty of Western Mass autumn

Tips for protecting yourself, your family and pets, before and after outdoor activities, can be found here: https://www.lymedisease.org/lyme-basics/ticks/personal-protection/

The Lyme Disease Resource Center, in Northampton, is also a great local resource for prevention information, support and education around Lyme Disease and other tick-born co-infections.

Stay safe this fall!
