The holidays should be time of joy and good cheer. But for the nearly 40 million Americans who are going to be hospitalized with the flu, the season will be less exciting, more exhausting, and downright expensive.
I’ve filed this infographic under Politics because until we have universal health care, many people will not understand their options or have easy access to preventive measures such as the flu shot, even though prevention costs so much less than the alternative.
