Since 2003, CISA has recognized farmers, institutions, businesses, and everyday community members whose work helps sustain local agriculture. Awardees will be honored at CISA’s annual meeting in 2024.
The nominee:
- embodies CISA’s mission of strengthening farms and engaging the community to build the local food economy;
- has made a noticeable impact on sustaining agriculture in the Valley;
- has demonstrated long-term vision, social responsibility and/or environmental ethic in their work.
Nominees must reside or work in Franklin, Hampshire or Hampden County, or in the Greater Quabbin region. Members of CISA’s Board of Directors, staff and their families are not eligible for nomination. Nominations are due February 1, 2024.
